SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Inspection, maintenance and repair of aircraft (fixed
wing and rotor) including: structures—wood, sheet metal, composite—and
fasteners, covering, finishes, welding, assembly and rigging, hydraulics,
pneumatics, instrument systems, electrical systems, position and warning
systems, ice and rain control systems. Reading of blueprints as
appropriate. I am currently working at March ARB for the US Air Force
as a sheet metal mechanic on aircraft such as the C-17 Globemaster and
KC-135 Stratotankers. I have worked as sheet metal mechanic at Los
Alamitos Joint Forces Base on helicopters such as UH-1 Hueys, UH-60
Blackhawks and OH-58 Kiowas on removal of corrosion, manufacturing of clips
doublers and brackets, removal and installation of structure items.
Remove and replace panels and components as cowlings, transmission, shaft,
hydraulic pumps etc.
